Sadly this restaurant is closed. This was the best Chinese restaurant in Kingwood. This Kingwood cornerstone will surely be missed.

My family and I absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh and delicious! The staff is so welcoming and kind! Make sure to try their bar selection out, you are sure to enjoy. Karaoke nights are super fun too! It's a great place to dine, relax, and see or do some great karaoke! Fun, fun, fun! We definitely will be back!

We went for lunch. Nice lady with a smile, who I found out later is the new owner, sat us. Young man who brought our appetizers had no personality, no smile, nada! We have eaten here for years and were disappointed. The picture of the fat men is gone, leaving a picture not centered in the middle of the wall. Men's bathroom is outdated & has no hot water. The tv black cord is taped to the wall, at least with black tape. Music - ULK! The tv volume was on low so we could hear that AND the Josh Groban singing. It was really annoying. I wanted to hear nice Chinese music in the background! The tv should have been on mute with captions as they were playing a cool show about a traveling foodie. Food: The crispy fried wontons were nice & warm but they didn't bring us individual plates so we had sweet sauce all over our table! We got our usual, Triple delight. It was hot & good but all I had was broccoli & 2 small snow peas. We use to have lots of vegetables like the baby corn & snow peas. The taste wad good & we did enjoy it. The lady said they had just bought it ^ she likes to work. Her team, should learn to smile & invite people into their world so they want to come back. We will be back but hope some changes are made.

Mencius is always a great choice for our family! The environment is always clean, and Philip is always happy and so pleasant to be around! In addition... the soups always seem fresh. I particularly love the egg drop soup (not pictured) as I inhaled it before I thought about taking a picture! But my husband loves both the wonton and sweet and sour soups! The portions are reasonable for the price and there is lots of variety here! I know they do lots of takeout business but I would love to see more customers sit down and enjoy the beautiful new renovations! Our favorite Asian food in Kingwood by far!

I visited this restaurant since I was in the area and its close to my work. Humble doesn't really have any great Chinese restaurants, so for better quality, look elsewhere like Kingwood. After briefly looking over the menu, the prices were agreeable....and not overly priced like some places for lunch. I ordered the sautéed beef, hunan style and an iced tea. The entree was 8.95 which is about average these days. The meal during lunch comes with either egg roll or soup and a rice. I picked egg roll and steamed rice. This must be a popular thing in NE Houston as they also serve the large diameter egg rolls, similar to the longstanding Chinese restaurant near downtown Humble. Overall, atmosphere is nice and service is friendly and attentative. Looks like I can add this one to my list of lunch places during the weekdays.
